    Professor, artist, and author, Julia Christensen asks “What do we do with all these empty Big Box retail locations”

    When companies like Circuit City go under they leave thousands of Big Box locations empty. Do we turn these into museums, churches, homeless refuge? It’s an issue that is relatively new, and there is a world of opportunity here. 

    Locally I am reminded of the old Winn-Dixie grocery off of McCart that is now Harmony Science Academy.
