West and Clear signed off… for good. What a bummer. I can understand though, it’s taxing. I hate to say it, but I could almost see it coming.
Note events:
- Pete says What do YOU want? Suggesting he’s tired.
- Kevin goes on Hiatus. I think he’s in it for the long haul though. His audience is beyond regional, and you can tell it’s a passion.
- Steve get’s really sporadic; then ends West and Clear.
It’s sad, but I understand. These are taxing things. Anyone can tell you that. I have even heard Sonja say that sometimes she posts from a “Labor of Love”; and she also seemed to notice the lapse on W&C.
The ad rev is no prize either mind you.

Thanks for the pingback Austin. I still see good reasons to blog, even good professional reasons, but I don’t see quitting the day job to run a regional blog publication coming for anyone right now.
It’s a shame about West and Clear, Steve wrote some excellent posts. I hope Fort Worth Real Estate will stay in. I think you’d agree with me that there are collateral benefits to regional blogging.
Wouldn’t you?
