I noticed that the old Cattle Raisers Museum on 7th street is getting gutted right now. They have a trash chute backed right up to the front door. Soon to come will be the new Cattle Raisers Museum opening this year, right next to the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.
It should be pretty neat. 10,000 square feet is an awful lot bigger than what they had before. Among interactive exhibits they will also be touting a new theatre, which is pretty cool. But what I am really looking forward to is the video game that lets you run your own ranch; or you could go on their virtual cattledrive the “Ride-Along Round-Up”.
So now my only question is what will become of their old location on 7th St. I hope it doesn’t remain stagnant for to long.
