What’s this super secret project you speak of?
It’s called Snipsly.
Snipsly is an Adsense Revenue Sharing site. Much like the several dozen others out there. Users can submit content of their own and, if they have an adsense account, they can share in the revenue 80/20. Snipsly shows ads 20% of the time. The users show the other 80%.
It also works decently well for building backlinks. So, someone could go write an article and add in a link to their site. They are thereby creating more inbound links to their site and growing it’s Search Engine visibility.

Is there going to be editorial control so the theme of the site maintains some sort of consistency? If it’s just completely random writings then the site will never be a destination itself, and will remain yet another site dedicated strictly to generating links to fool google.

Also, pretty sure you didn’t mean to say insightful here: “Obscene, hateful, insightful and/or racist material will be removed.” Perhaps you were looking for inflammatory?

You are correct, inciteful would be the better spelling.. Although inflammatory would be a better word I think.
There is no central theme for the sight. While your idea certainly has merit, and I may act on a niche crowdsourcing, this one will cast a wider net.
